Since 1959, Misonix (formerly Heat Systems Ultrasonics) has been at the leading edge of ultrasound technology for the laboratory. During the 1960's, the company helped develop the application of sonication as it is currently used in research laboratories. Over the years their engineering staff has greatly improved the design and performance of the instrument and the term Sonicator® has become synonymous with ultrasonic liquid processing. The Sonicator® product line offers both large (S 3000) and small volume (XL 2000) ultrasonic generators and a variety of Horn and Probe accessories are available to handle virtually any application.
